A shocking incident has come to light where a woman toll collector was seen being assaulted by a commuter at the Kherki Daula toll plaza in Haryana state’s Gurugram city.

CCTV footage of the incident shows the man, wearing a pink shirt, misbehaving and assaulting the female employee.

It is being said that the toll collector had rejected the man’s identification card when he was trying to pass through the toll without paying the toll tax.
She had insisted the driver to pay the requisite toll tax to which he kept on denying.

After the driver refused to pay the tax and got into an argument, he got down from the car and slapped the lady.

The female collector somehow managed to recover from the blow and also hit him. Other people who were present in the toll booth tried to intervene and stop the fight.

The accused has now been arrested.

In a similar incident that took place at the Kherki toll booth plaza last month, a woman toll collector was punched by a commuter at plaza and another employee was dragged on the bonnet of a car when he tried to stop a commuter from passing without paying toll.
