In yet another incident of lynching, a 25-year-old man was beaten to death by a restaurant owner and his staffs over a billing dispute in the Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh.

Suraj Singh and Vishal Dubey had gone to have their dinner at the Sardar Dhabha near Mahrajganj in the district.

After having their dinner when they were presented a bill of 180 INR, they got into an argument saying that there was a discrepancy in the food bill as some items were wrongly charged.

The scuffle soon turned ugly as the debate got heated until the restaurant owner came with an iron rod and started hitting both.

While Dubey managed to flee from the spot, Suraj was caught and thrashed badly using sticks and iron rod.

The thrashing left him badly injured and he later succumbed to his injuries.

The police rushed to the spot immediately after receiving the distress call and arrested the restaurant owner Gurmail Singh and his son Surendra Singh.

While the duo has been arrested, other assailants are on the run and the police believe that they will be nabbed very soon.
