Couple Locked Up Inside Their Home By The Resident’s Office-Bearers After They Tested Positive For Coronavirus In Kerala

A Kerala based couple was locked up inside their home by the resident association office-bearers after they tested positive in the Corona Virus screening at the Nedumbaserry international airport in Kochi.

Vinod and Indira who worked in Saudi Arabia had come to India on Sunday and had to undergo the mandatory Coronavirus screening at the airport.

Their test revealed the presence of the deadly virus that forced them to be quarantined inside their apartment.

After the residents and the Office bearers learned about the infection, they locked the couple from outside and pasted a sticker indicating contamination.

The couple later alerted the cops and registered a complaint about the phone after which the police arrived at the spot and registered a case against the resident’s office-bearers.

In yet another incident of Corona Virus in the Kollam district of Kerala, a person with contamination who was directed to stay in confinement met with a road accident along with his daughter.

Around 50 health officials who came in contact with the person who had met with the accident were asked to stay in quarantine.

In another instance, a native of Madurai in Tamilnadu who was kept in home quarantine at Pathanamthitta district was reported missing.

Several others who tried to escape the quarantine were booked by the state police.

We at ‘The Change For A Better India’ request the citizens to take a proper measure to prevent themselves from visiting crowded places.

If you happen to find an indication which may suggest the presence of the virus, kindly call the emergency helpline and get themselves checked by the health officials and remain quarantined until the incubation period is over.
